 very dissapointed Jul 29, 2010
I was looking for a simple wallet and found this to NOT be it. Credit card slots to stiff and can only hold a few. Clip for cash comes out all the time when removing, don't waste your money!!
A waste of money Jul 22, 2010
I bought this wallet thinking it would be a good replacement for my Tumi clip wallet. I was wrong. This wallet barely holds six or seven credit cards and the clip is very cumbersome and is not firmly attached to the body of the wallet. You practically have to force the cards into the sleeves. The clip actually fell off yesterday so I'm thru with this one. Going back to my old Tumi which is twice as good even though it has a torn sleeve.

My husband really liked this wallet. If you want a wallet that will sit slimly and still hold what you need, this one will do the trick and look nice in the process.
Not long after he got this wallet, though, he was given a magnetic money clip wallet made by Fossil. Its style was more attractive, and since he did not need his wallet to be as slim as the one by Rustic River, he is now using the Fossil wallet.
If I were to do it again, I would opt to do more looking in departments stores and the like before purchasing this one. I think we paid more than we had to.

I've been looking for a clip like this for a year now. So glad I found Rustic River! A great money clip.

Great money clip, much slimmer than my old wallet Aug 07, 2009
I decided to go with a money clip because my wallet was getting too bulky (wish it were too bulky with extra cash, but sadly, no). I just had too many membership cards I didn't use all that much, credit cards, etc. My old wallet also had an extra flap for a driver's license and more cards. It was just too much. My brother-in-law showed me his money clip, and I decided that I wanted to use one too.
I purchased the dark brown clip. The leather is thick and high quality. It has a very rustic design and finish to it. I ended up going through my old wallet and decided to take out a lot of my old cards I didn't use and only put in the essentials, so I have two cards on the outside pocket and 5 of various thicknesses in the inner pocket.
The metal clip inside works great. I can slide out bills and put them back easily. It's a lot more slim than my old wallet which was probably an average sized wallet.
