Great little refillable journal. Nov 08, 2009

I'm starting a little collection, and this journal is a great addition. It's small, so I can take it around with me easily.
My favorite part about it is that it's refillable. It comes with a notebook inside that doesn't have lined pages. I wish they were, but when I refill it, I can put in lined pages. The buckle gets in the way just a little bit sometimes when it's open, but other than that, it's great for taking quick notes (or sketches).
The leather has a weathered/rustic feel and look to it which I really like.

This is a great book to carry around and take notes in. The leather cover makes it look professional. It's not too big, so it fits in my purse or is easily carried.
I like to keep a pen against the notebook, and the buckle holds it in place. The leather is smooth and seems durable. The notebook stays closed with the buckle.
I love that the notebook is refillable, so I can get more use out of it than just what is inside. I haven't looked for a notebook to refill it with yet, but it's a standard size and should be easy to find at an on office supply store.

Given the price, the quality of this refillable notebook exceeded my expectations. Most other leather refillable notebooks are significantly more expensive. Looks nice and feels durable. Comfortable size.
I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend, and she enjoys writing in it. Goes well with the fountain pen I bought for her. The size of the notebook is convenient for her to carry in her bag. The only thin is that refills of this size have proved difficult to find, so I bought a couple of the refills offered by the same company. They seem to be reasonably priced, but are unlined. Not a problem for my girlfriend, but could be a problem for some.
